This Privacy Policy explains how Aurea Music Prize processes application data for the Preliminary Round, finalist communication, payment administration and competition management. It should be reviewed and completed by a qualified professional before large-scale collection of applications or payments.
1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data Collected
We may collect: name, surname, email, phone/WhatsApp, country, city, nationality, date of birth, application category, instrument/discipline, biography, video links, score files, portfolio materials, payment status and communications related to the competition.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Managing Preliminary Round applications.
- Reviewing eligibility and application materials.
- Contacting selected finalists.
- Managing Final Round confirmations and payments.
- Publishing winners and official results, where applicable.
- Complying with accounting, tax and legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis
Processing may be based on the applicant’s request to participate, contractual/pre-contractual measures, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest in managing the competition, and consent where required for optional communication or publication of additional materials.
5. Data Retention

11. Competition Notice
Payment of any Final Round administrative fee confirms participation in the Final Round but does not guarantee a prize, ranking, certificate beyond those explicitly stated, booking assistance, concert opportunity, management agreement or career development outcome.
